Students interested in grading for any professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics should use this application.  Hiring decisions are made by instructors of the course to which you are applying.

Math & Stats TA

To apply for a Math & Stats TA position, please send the following materials to the Department Coordinator: mathstat-gradprograms@sdsu.edu

  • Your resume
  • A short statement (1 page) of mathematical or statistical interests, teaching experience and teaching preferences
  • Two letters of recommendation – one regarding teaching ability and one regarding mathematics or statistics ability. Your letters should come directly from those writing the letters.

MSLC Tutor

Department Proctor

Proctors are needed to help administer tests.  Tests are 2-3 hours, you are hired on an as-needed basis and contacted as needs arise. [0-6 hours/week]

 

PARC Peer Tutors

PARC is hiring peer tutors in PSFA majors for Fall ’22 in the PARC! [~5-10 hrs/week]
 
For the upcoming fall, we are seeking tutors in these subject areas:
